Curriculum

Lifetime Learning Center Early Education and Childcare has a curriculum based program that ensures each child will receive the skills they need to enter kindergarten. Lifetime Learning Center Early Education and Childcare uses “Funshine Express” curriculum.

Our curriculum starts as young as our toddler class and goes through our Pre-K class. We use lessons with meaningful age appropriate and hands-on playful learning experience.

We have more than two rooms which offer ample space for kids to learn and enjoy the activities during classes.

Cuddlebugs, Tiny Tots, and Buttercups Toddler Classes

Adaptable for children ages 6 months – 36 months, these toddler classes offer 8 weeks of interactive fun. The 2-month activity kits develop gross and fine motor skills, as well as provide music, language, art, cognitive, social, and sensory experiences.

Bumblebees and Fireflies Preschool Classes

Adaptable for children ages 3-5, these classes offer a high-quality, professionally-designed early learning program that creates enthusiasm for learning and builds school readiness skills. The monthly activity kits provide educators and parents with strategies for children with various developmental needs, experiences, and diverse culture. Activities and assessment materials are aligned with early learning standards.

Circle Time is a time where the class comes together for teacher directed activities. This is a very important time of the day when the teacher will discuss things such as weather, calendar, alphabet, numbers, plans for the day and reading a story or singing a song with the children.

Learning Centers is a time when children will be involved in hands-on activities that help give him a successful start in kindergarten. Your child will receive a foundation that helps him become an inquisitive learner and inventive problem-solver. The preschool classroom itself is an invaluable learning tool. The space is divided into centers that will include language and circle time, creativity and art, dramatic play, math and manipulative, science, sensorial, and blocks.

Outdoor Classroom is a providing many physical activities that are a part of healthy development. Activities such as climbing on outdoor equipment and playing catch help coordinate the actions of the children’s hands and eyes, these skills will be needed for writing. Please be sure to dress your child for active play and weather. We go out twice a day if weather permits as defined by licensing. Be prepared even if your child is not fond of the outdoors, we might not be able to accommodate your child staying inside due to licensing and staffing regulations.

Care Routines will be a constant routine throughout our busy day. We spend time each day washing our hands and eating nutritious meals. We are required to provide a quiet time or sleep, after lunch, to rejuvenate children’s active minds and bodies.
